The ANCYL has noted with dismay the desperate attempt by \u00a0EFF which wants to use the struggle icon of the movement for their own\u00a0narrow, selfish objectives. The EFF has been insisting\u00a0regardless of many attempts by the family of Solomon Kalushi Mahlangu indicating that EFF has no right nor responsibility to hold lectures about Kalushi because he was never a member of the EFF. The EFF wants to use the name of Umkhonto We-Sizwe combatant Kalushi to first and foremost distort history, his association and membership \u00a0affiliation of Kalushi Mahlangu to the African National Congress. They want to use what Kalushi stood for against his organization that he was part of and the organization that he joined voluntarily up until his death the ANC. Solomon had no other home outside of the ANC. Why claim what is not yours?<\/span><\/p>\n

The ANCYL identifies the EFF approach as lucid illustration \u00a0of those that have no history in the liberation of the nation but want a stake in the history of the liberation of the people of South Africa. In no time EFF will hold seminars and lectures to speak about Mxolisi Majombozi, Oliver Tambo, Walter Sisulu, Ruth First, Chris Hani and many of\u00a0our\u00a0liberators in\u00a0an\u00a0attempt to proclaim that what they are is informed by the history and the stature of those that have been in movement. Our stalwarts are not for sale not even to your imperialist \u00a0funders who take you from South Africa to London and back to course confusion to our people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

True to their character as thieves,\u00a0they\u00a0steal everything with a hope that no one sees them. As the ANCYL we will not allow them to steal our congress resolution, history of the liberation movement and our country. It will be interesting to hear from them why do their want to steal the history and heritage of our movement. EFF must make its own history, makes its own heroes and then they will have a right to speak about them. Why speak about those that \u00a0don\u2019t know you as if they do know you and as if they have relations with\u00a0them.\u00a0. Why speak about people that never shared your ideas as if they did. Thieves to core, if it was possible they would\u00a0have erected an EFF flag next to all our struggle icons place of rest.<\/span><\/p>\n
