Being a society where not even a single jot of oppression, discrimination and exploitation exists, the communist society embodies non-racialism, non-sexism, democracy and unparalleled none-exploitative economic progress if not perpetuity. Perpetuity that needs to be consolidated and defended, consolidated by the very class, the working class that must- itself- ultimately cease to exist in lieu of a classless society envisioned in the life and times of one of our outstanding revolutionaries . . . More than a year ago, I wrote about the Fallacy of Facebook addiction. My view remains unchanged, it is not possible to be addicted to Facebook. I like to know what the 54 members of my extended family are up to and 63% of them are on Facebook. Instead of calling or sending sms to each of them, I just go to their profiles and check. It's not Facebook I am addicted to, but my family. If you think Family addiction is a problem, try eating rice, cucumber, avocado and salmon rolled with nori from an . . . Last week, WikiLeaks released thousands of secret government documents, mostly of the US government. For the uninitiated, WikiLeaks is a news website that was started by Julian Assange. They hack into computer systems to retrieve secret documents and publish them on their website. It seems the aim to encourage openness and more accountability by governments. As expected, media institutions are fond of such an initiative as it provides a source of material they could use for reporting.I checked the . . . Continue reading this article
Earlier last week, I bought an iPad from unofficial distributors since the Core Group (official Apple Distributors in South Africa) do not know the date of availability of iPad in SA. About 2 weeks ago I started at my new job, not that it's really new but I'll be working with with different people. As I continue to meet . . . Continue reading this article

This exposition was first published on the 9th September 2010 in The Bottomline, the YCLSA publication.
In the SACP’s Bua Komanisi Bulletin of 2007 Issue No 2, Volume 6, Page 11; it is resuscitated that “the key motive force of the struggle for the African revolution, and for different socialist world remains the working class.” On the question of what composes the key motive force of our National Democratic Revolution I elect to agree with the aforesaid assertion. On the same tandem, it . . . Continue reading this article
If you thought this article is about swearing, then clearly you don't know me that well. I stopped swearing in June 2000. One day I will blog about why I stopped. But since then I never swear. Ever. On the other hand, if you thought this article was about shit, as in faeces, then you're correct.
Those who find talking about the stool unpleasant rather not read this blog before a meal or they may lose their appetite. They'd rather not read it after a meal neither, for obvious reasons. I'm not sure . . . Continue reading this article

Now that the my Perspective on Protection of Information Bill is sealed and delivered, I can write about what I really wanted to write about, the Media Tribunal. Before I started writing now I just read this by Jarred Cinman (a web developer). I don't disagree with him. Most views that have been expressed on this matter seem to have been formulated by people who may have not read the ANC NGC Discussion Document which is readily available on the ANC Website. In the age of Facebook and Twitter, not many . . . Continue reading this article
